The flagship store Peter Kate was named after the owner’s 2 oldest children, Peter and Katie. Sissy’s third child, Margot, arrived after the store was born, but provides lots of insertion on how to buy for the younger generation. We started our business 20 years ago in Wilmington, Delaware as a quaint shoe boutique, but we have since evolved to be what we like to call a “mini department store,” selling high-end apparel and accessories.
An idea was born in 2020 during the pandemic to create a digital luxury fashion store with virtual shopping services, leading to the creation of shoppeterkate.com.
